HVAC, Electrical & Insulation in Creekside Park, The Woodlands

Precision HVAC service, generator wiring, and Township-compliant placement for Creekside Park's 2007+ homes on the Harris County side. Call (832) 782-3490.

Avatex Service Company serves Creekside Park, the village that opened in 2007 as the only part of The Woodlands on the Harris County side of Spring Creek. Its newer homes carry modern envelopes and big tonnage, and its county-side location changes the paperwork: permits run through Harris County, and the utility provider differs from the Entergy territory covering most of the Township — we confirm yours before quoting any rebate. Licensed HVAC (TACLA #89729C), electrical (TECL #34162), Master Electrician (#535138).

The newest village, with county-side paperwork

Creekside Park opened in 2007 and is the youngest of The Woodlands' villages — and the only one in Harris County, across Spring Creek from the rest of the Township. The housing stock is 2007-and-newer production and custom homes, many over 3,000 square feet, built to modern energy code under the same forest canopy as the older villages.

Being the newest village means the community is now crossing the 15-year mark where original builder equipment starts failing in waves. And being the Harris County village means the jurisdiction and utility assumptions that hold in Grogan's Mill or Alden Bridge don't automatically apply here.

First-wave replacements arriving

2007–2012 builder systems are reaching end of life together. We quote repair versus replace with real numbers, and review anyone else's quote free — no-pressure is the house rule.

Jurisdiction and utility confusion

Creekside Park is Harris County, not Montgomery — permits run through the county's ePermits system, and the electric provider differs from the Entergy service most of the Township uses. We verify both on every job so rebate math is honest.

Canopy load on equipment

Same forest, same problem as the older villages: needles and debris matting condenser coils. Annual cleaning keeps big-tonnage systems from strangling in August.

Utility, rebates & rules in Creekside Park

Because Creekside Park sits in Harris County, your electric provider may differ from the Entergy Texas territory that covers most of The Woodlands — the available rebate program depends on which one serves your address, so we confirm the provider before quoting incentives rather than promising a number that doesn't apply.

The Township's Residential Development Standards still apply on this side of the creek: earth-tone ground-level compressors in rear or side yards (like-for-like replacement at the existing location is pre-approved), and standby generators below six feet, screened, with daytime self-tests and main-box notification. Mechanical and electrical permits run through Harris County. The federal 25C energy-efficiency tax credit ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025, so utility programs are the main source of HVAC savings in 2026 (verified July 2026 against the IRS OBBB FAQ).

Creekside Park questions we hear the most

Who issues permits in Creekside Park — Montgomery County or Harris County?

Harris County. Creekside Park is the only Woodlands village south of Spring Creek, so mechanical and electrical permits run through Harris County's ePermits system. Avatex files them as part of the job.

Do Entergy rebates apply in Creekside Park?

Not automatically — the Harris County side may be served by a different electric provider than the Entergy territory covering most of the Township. We confirm your provider first, then quote whichever program actually applies to your address.

Can Avatex install a standby generator in Creekside Park?

Yes. We're licensed electrical contractors (TECL #34162) and install to the Township's standards: under six feet above grade, screened from ground-level view, daytime self-tests, and notification on the main circuit box — plus the Harris County electrical permit.

My 2008 Creekside Park system still runs — should I replace it?

Not necessarily. Age alone isn't a verdict. We look at refrigerant type, repair history, and efficiency, then show repair and replacement numbers side by side so you decide.
