My AC was under floodwater — can I turn it back on?

No. Do not energize equipment that has been submerged until a licensed technician inspects it — a flooded compressor can short your electrical panel. Turn off the disconnect and the breaker, then call.

What size generator do I need to run my AC through an outage?

It depends on your system's tonnage and starting load — soft-start kits can shrink the requirement. We calculate from your actual equipment, wire the transfer switch under TECL #34162, and handle HOA review where it applies.

Is surge protection really worth it for HVAC equipment?
